Description:
A small silk uchishiki featuring 'tsume tsuzure' (split tapestry) weave. A phoenix is set against saturated clouds. Good condition, with some fraying. 14" x 15". The phoenix is endowed with all of the magical qualities of auspiciousness: longevity, resurrection, the solar and alchemical fire, and symbolizes peace and tranquility.
