A relatively large chirimen silk fukusa featuring an ume blossom vase, a mushroom, Japanese persimmon and bird motifs. The sumi-e technique created the black brushstrokes, with the remainder a combination of yuzen-dyeing and embroidery. The red chirimen lining has a metallic couched paulownia mon on the back. All four tassles are present. Very good condition. 27" x 30"
