Description:
A boy's miyamairi plain silk kimono utilized as an anointment accessory at a coming-of-age ceremony at a Shinto shrine. This kimono features on it's backside a detailed painted with embroidery highlights scene of the legendary Yoshitsume abd Benkei in battle. Very good condition, with a number of minor imperfections. 33" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 40" height.
