" A medium weight crepe silk in a shade of bright medium blue. It is covered in bold leaves which I believe could be from water lilies. The leaves are rendered in white, creamy yellow and a seafoam green. They are additional outlines in what was probably gold but much of that is long gone but this does not make the piece any less fantastic. This silk is from the Taisho Era which is between 1912 and 1926. It has a great hand and a fabulous drape.
This piece is in fantastic condition for a fabric this old. There is the missing gold outlining that you can see from the photos and just a few barely noticable patina spots.: 13.5" x 60"
