Description:
A large shibori silk furisode with unusual aesthetics, featuring black and white 'kiri' (paulownia) and bamboo accomplished with the shibori technique. Areas of tiny motifs in stenciled gold foil, with metallic gold couching outling some of the large paulownia on the front. The cloth is rinzu (damask) with a 'kikko' (abstract tortoise-shell) motifs. 53" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 65" height.
