This boy's plain weave silk ceremonial kimono showcases motifs depicting the legendary Momotaro alongside his dog and monkey assistants. The intricate design is achieved through a combination of yuzen and freehand painting techniques. This is one garment of a set (item 2973a sold separately). The kimono is adorned with a rare mon (family crest) depicting two facing plovers. Its measurements are 33 inches (83.8 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and 47 inches (119.4 cm) in height.
