This haori is a splendid early example of rayon, a material once considered more precious than silk in Japan. Reserved for the wealthy, this jacket features faux-shibori pine and bamboo motifs. It measures 50 inches from sleeve-end to sleeve-end by 40 inches in height (127 cm by 102 cm).
