This high-quality silk haori is a stunning piece featuring paulownia motifs on a rinzu (damask) background. It's unique as the rinzu background mirrors the paulownia motif of the yuzen-painted foreground. The two large hand-embroidered crests add to its elegance. With three small family crests, this haori was intended for formal use, a rarity among haori. The inner lining showcases shibori with tiny hand-painted motifs, evident in the detail images.
