This specialized silk under-kimono, known as 'dounuki', showcases a bodice crafted from uncut cloth of varied patterns, termed "kiredori," achieved through the katazome technique. Its lower and side sections feature a chirimen silk pattern. The inner lining is crafted from natural off-white handspun and handwoven tsumugi silk. However, there are old patched wear holes present on both sleeves. Its measurements are 49 inches (124 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end, with a height of 58 inches (147 cm).
