This antique ceremonial uchikake, crafted from dark, heavy shusu (satin) silk, potentially designated for a funeral, boasts five couched embroidered mon. Its remarkable lining resembles a brocade-like damask. The piece is in excellent condition, measuring 49 inches from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and 60 inches in height (124 cm x 152 cm).
