This kimono, crafted from sheer "ro" (gauze) gauze, displays joined-swastika and waterwheel motifs on unlined (hitoe) silk. The waterwheels, intricately fashioned by manually inserting silver threads, are a stunning feature that regrettably remains unseen on the cloth's reverse side (refer to face and backside images). Some staining is present on the inside, not visible when worn or displayed. The measurements are 49 inches (124.5 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and a height of 61 inches (154.9 cm).
